Pastor Jason Garwood
Rev. Jason Garwood (BS, MDiv, ThD) is a passionate advocate for applying the Biblical worldview to every area of life. For 20 years, he has devoted himself to understanding Scripture deeply and teaching others to live under the lordship of King Jesus. His ministry is driven by a desire to glorify Christ by equipping Christians to identify and confront cultural idols through faithful obedience to the Great Commission.
Dr. Garwood has authored several impactful books, including The Disciples’ Prayer, Reconstructing the Heart, which bridges theology and practical living, Have Yourself an Eschatological Christmas, and the Amazon best-seller Health for All of Life, which addresses Biblical principles for health and wellness. As minister of Word and sacrament at Cross & Crown Church in Warrenton, Virginia, he leads a community rooted in Reformed theology and committed to cultural engagement.
He is also the Founder and President of the Virginia Center for Public Theology, a ministry committed to defending Christian ethics in the town square. Jason and his wife Mary are raising their three children to know, love, and serve Christ, embodying the faith and mission that drives his life and ministry.

Africa 2025: Mission Report
Greetings! Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I am pleased to offer up this report of my 18-day trip to Zambia. I first want to thank those who have prayed for and financially assisted me in returning this year. This was my fifth time in Zambia and the relationships I have developed on the ground continue to flourish. A lot was accomplished! Without the financial means I couldn’t do this… so thank you! Instead of giving a chronological report, I’m simply going to highlight the various activities. Keep in mind that my primary ministry in Africa is teaching and preaching the comprehensive gospel of the kingdom. Africa needs Reformation.
