Made Low
So it has been a few days. How are you?
I've been really busy working on some stuff that pertains to my family and I's future. God has stirred some things in my heart and we are taking a 'step of faith' (as they say--whoever 'they' is) to see what God might be doing. Pray for us won't you?Something that's been really encouraging through this time of patience is how God uses these times to discipline us (Hebrews 12:6-7). I suppose that sometimes we have to be made low in order to experience things in perspective. It would seem that every time this has happened in my life, I've cried out in agony, pleading with God to restore me--and he does.Psalm 42:5-6aWhy are you cast down, O my soul?and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God.
